Kathleen R. Garza

Kathleen concentrates her practice in corporate transactions, securities and insurance regulation, and corporate governance. Her experience includes the negotiation and drafting of corporate and commercial contracts, data privacy agreements, and internal policies and procedures, compliance with state insurance laws and regulations. She also has experience representing landowners and buyers in real estate transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets, leasing, and condemnation. Kathleen began her legal career as a school law attorney, where she gained experience in a variety of areas related to the education industry, including employment issues, real estate, procurement, open government and board governance.
