Darryl Levy heads the firm’s Real Estate practice representing lenders, developers, and other business clients in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate finance, transactions, investment, and development, both nationally and regionally.
Darryl’s practice focuses primarily on real estate, mortgage, construction, and development financing and lending. He represents insurance companies and commercial banks, as well as other financial institutions and institutional lenders, in real estate and mortgage financing transactions in myriad different contexts. Darryl has negotiated loan commitments, construction financing, and interim and permanent financing on projects as diverse as industrial facilities, office buildings, multi-family housing, retail centers, hotels and hospitality properties in Texas and throughout the United States. He also has extensive experience negotiating financing for EB-5 investors and project developers.
In addition, Darryl’s practice focuses on representing lenders, investors, commercial users, and landowners in the restructuring, workout and foreclosure of troubled real estate investments. In addition, he represents landowners and commercial users of all sizes in a wide variety of transactions. Darryl has significant experience in the acquisition and disposition of real property assets, and the negotiation of leasing, management and joint venture agreements for limited partnership and limited liability companies, among other real estate development structures.
