GH&A welcomes Marc D. Young as an associate attorney working primarily in the Galveston office. Marc’s practice will be chiefly focused on commercial , ad valorem tax, and insurance litigation.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Marc spent many years in public service. He has served as an Assistant Insurance Commissioner for the state of Oklahoma and worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. handling, among others, such issues as national security, trade, small business, veterans’ affairs, and sportsmen’s issues for a United States Congressman.
Marc is an officer and active member of the Army National Guard. His service includes three mobilizations since 9/11, including two deployments to the Middle East in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Marc received a B.A. from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin School of Law.
