The lawsuit, which can be read here, joined Lexington Insurance Company, York Risk Services Group, Lancashire Insurance Co. and Allied World Assurance Company on allegations of misrepresenting insurance coverage and terms, failing to properly investigate and adjust claims and conspiring to increase deductibles and reduce coverage, all during a three-year adjustment process following Hurricane Ike. “This was a case involving hundreds of thousands of pages of documents maintained by custodians scattered throughout the United States and abroad,” said partner Joseph R.
