James M. Roquemore was born in Orlando, Florida.  He attended Emory University where he received his B.A. in Economics in 1990.  In 1994 he graduated from Georgia State College of Law with a J.D., and in 2005 he graduated from  University of Wisconsin - Madison with an M.B.A. in Finance, Risk Management and Insurance.  He is admitted to the bar in the states of Maryland and Texas.
